Warwick Junior School is situated on a site on the outskirts of Warwick adjacent to Warwick Senior School. The buildings are contained within a four acre site and enjoy the use of the Sports and other facilities of Warwick Senior School.
The aim of the School is to provide a good general education based on Christian principles. Academic standards are high and in particular participation in a range of activities is encouraged. Each pupil is encouraged to develop his own personality and to realise his own potential.
The curriculum gives a good grounding in the core subjects of the National Curriculum - English, Mathematics and Science and Technology, History, Geography, and Religious Education. French, Art, Music, Drama and PE are also part of the curriculum. Many sporting activities are available on the fifty acre campus of Warwick School. Rugby and Soccer are the main winter sport with cricket in the summer, plus athletics, swimming, tennis and squash.
Creative activities are encouraged. The School's dramatic productions and musical activities provide a useful focus in the development of many talents within the School.
Boarding for about 20 Junior School boys is available in the Boarding House at Warwick. The large number of day pupils and a boarding house provides maximum flexibility for parental choice. It also encourages a healthy environment in which boys can develop their academic and out of school activities.
Boys are prepared for the Entrance Examination to Warwick Senior School at age 11. The majority of pupils who leave Warwick Junior School gain a place in the Senior School at Warwick.
